The Motorola APX Radio Carrier is a kydex radio holster custom-molded to the APX platform — built for officers who need their radio secure through a shift and instantly reachable when it counts. No sag, no swing, no wasted belt space: a molded shell that fits the radio because it was shaped on one.
Compatible
Molded for Motorola APX 6000, 7000, and 8000 series radios with standard batteries. Running an extended battery? Contact us before ordering and we'll confirm fit.
Not compatible
Because the shell is custom-molded to APX dimensions, it is not compatible with XPR, HT, or other radio platforms.
Retention you set yourself
Three adjustable washers on the front face let you set retention exactly where you want it — snug for patrol, looser for fast access — and hold that setting. Nylon pouches typically give you no retention adjustment at all; the Rhino shell gives you three points of it.
Mounting
Runs on the same attachment menu as the rest of the Rhino duty line: 2" or 3" MOLLE, Blade-Tech Tek-Lok, or Guardian Warrior Solutions Adapt 2 (3" vest) and Adapt 2 Short (2" belt).
Build
Handcrafted in the USA with the same Kydex and build standard as the rest of our duty gear. Available in six finishes: Black, OD Green, Flat Dark Earth, Wolf Gray, Black Basketweave, and MultiCam.

Which radios fit?
Motorola APX 6000, 7000, and 8000 series with standard batteries. Not compatible with XPR, HT, or non-APX radios — the shell is molded to APX dimensions.
Will it work with an extended battery?
We haven't tested extended batteries yet, so we won't claim a fit we haven't verified. Contact us before ordering and we'll confirm for your setup.
How does it mount to a duty belt?
Choose 2" or 3" MOLLE, Blade-Tech Tek-Lok, or GWS Adapt 2 / Adapt 2 Short at checkout.
Is the retention adjustable?
Yes — three washer-adjustable retention points on the front face let you tighten or loosen exactly how firmly the radio rides.
