The Bearcat is a handcuff and magazine combo holder that consolidates two pieces of duty gear into one kydex carrier. Instead of running a separate cuff case and mag pouch, the Bearcat carries your handcuffs plus two pistol magazines in a single unit — freeing up belt real estate for everything else you're required to carry.
Carry configuration
Magazines
Holds two 9mm / .40 caliber double-stack pistol magazines. The Mag Retention Device (MRD) accepts double-stack 9/40 mags from a wide range of manufacturers. Not compatible with single-stack, .45 caliber, or 2011-style magazines. Right- or left-handed: the mag carrier is ambidextrous — point the mags the other direction and set your retention. No separate left-hand model needed.
Handcuffs
Ordered to match your cuffs — choose from three shell options: ASP Hinge (Ultra Plus style), ASP Chain (Ultra Plus style), or Universal for Peerless chain/hinge and Smith & Wesson chain/hinge.
Retention you set yourself
Both halves of the Bearcat are adjustable. Magazine retention runs through the Mag Retention Device — a turn of an allen wrench sets each mag as loose or as tight as you want, and it holds that setting. The handcuff case adjusts the same way: two screws on the face with rubber washers let you tighten cuff retention down to exactly how firmly your cuffs ride. No rattle, no surprises on a foot pursuit.
Mounting
Runs on the same attachment menu as the rest of the Rhino duty line: 2" or 3" MOLLE, Blade-Tech Tek-Lok, or Guardian Warrior Solutions Adapt 2 (3" vest) and Adapt 2 Short (2" belt). Already have mounts? Order it with no attachment, configured for MOLLE clips or Blade-Tech — mounting hardware included either way.

Does it work left-handed?
Yes — the mag carrier is ambidextrous. Mount the magazines facing the opposite direction for left-handed carry, then set the retention. Same product, no left-hand version to order.
